Frequently Asked Questions

DO YOU PROVIDE IN-PERSON OR ONLINE THERAPY?
Both! I conduct video sessions for clients located anywhere in CA. I see clients in-person at my office in Anaheim Hills, CA.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER I REACH OUT?
After you send a message, I will get back to you within two business days to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation at a time that works best for you. On the call we will discuss your concerns and the therapy process. If we determine that we are a good fit, then we’ll schedule our first session. If not, I will provide other referrals to help you along your search. It’s that simple!

HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?
Sessions are 50 minutes, which is the standard length of a therapy session. If you're interested in a longer session, please contact me for availability and pricing.

HOW OFTEN DO WE MEET?
We will meet for sessions at least once per week. Once we have built a strong rapport and progress increases, we can explore a new plan based on your needs. This may look like every other week, once per month, or occasional check-ins as needed.
WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT?
My fee for a 50-minute session is $175 and an 80-minute session is $250. Sliding scale appointments are available on a limited basis, please call to discuss your financial circumstances.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept all major credit cards and collect payment at the end of each session.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am an out of network provider and do not accept insurance for payment. Limiting the involvement of third-party payers allows us to maintain privacy within the therapeutic process. However, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. I suggest contacting your insurance provider to verify if your plan offers reimbursement for out-of-network psychotherapy services. Please note that there is a diagnostic requirement associated with services reimbursed by insurance and not everyone who seeks therapy has a diagnosis.

WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to cancel or reschedule our session, I ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice. Sessions that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
