My Approach

Warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental, my approach to therapy is person-centered. I believe that when prompted with the right questions, you have the power to discover all of the answers within. This allows you to gain greater confidence in trusting yourself. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and knowing this, I will customize the therapy experience to your unique needs by integrating theories such as psychodynamic, CBT, mindfulness, somatic, and EMDR into our work together.

My Story

I fell in love with the beautiful landscapes of California after joining the United States Coast Guard and leaving my New Jersey home behind in 2013. I spent years learning how to establish community and a sense of belonging in a new place. At the end of my enlistment, I transitioned from active duty to veteran and set on my path to becoming a therapist. I attended California State University, Long Beach completing my Master of Science in Counseling. This is where I discovered my passion for working with survivors of trauma. I recently finished my second master’s degree in business at University of Southern California where I reconnected with my military community and familiarized myself with the journey of entrepreneurship.

For me, creative projects and mountain destinations are the simple things in life that feed my soul. These moments bring me a sense of joy that comes from deeply within and radiates through my whole energy, suddenly I can breathe again.

I am inspired by nature and all photos throughout my website are from my own adventures.
